Here’s a 3 days 2 nights DIY travel guide for you! 🤙🏽

Isla Verde is located in Batangas. Crystal clear blue water and coral-white sands as I would describe. Literal na may makikita kang isda near shoreline. Pumunta ka na dito habang wala pang hype ng mga tao.

How to get to Isla Verde? 🚌 🚣🏽‍♀️ 🛳

• From Manila, alight a bus heading to Batangas Grand Terminal. We chose JAM Liner in Kamias, Cubao (Fare: 195 php) • Ride a jeep to Bagong Palengke (Fare: 11 php) and transfer to another jeep to Tabangao Port (Fare: 18 php)OR you can take a trike from the Grand Terminal straight to Tabangao Port. Estimate fare is P300. • For private cars, just key-in Tabangao Port in your waze. • From Tabangao Port, ask and look for any boats that will pass to San Agapito, Isla Verde. • Ride a small paddle-like boat (10 php)that will take you to a bigger boat ( Fare: 150 php) This will take you to San Agapito, Isla Verde, Sawang Dive Camp (*our choice of resort. FYI beside this resort is Surface Interval where you can also book accommodation. You may want to send a personal message to my friend RJ/Rhandy (travel organizer) EVERY JUAN Travel Gumagawa sya ng group tours to Isla Verde na mura din kung gusto nyo na no hassle travel experience or joiners kayo) • Boat departs between 7AM to 9AM if you’ll be taking a public boat and once a day lang ang schedule • Tabangao Port offers parking slots for your cars/vans. • Estimate travel time from Tabangao Port to Isla Verde Sawang Dive Camp is 1.5hr. Boat rate is P150 per person.

From the Island back to Batangas City: ⛴ • Public boat leaves at 3AM from the Island on Mondays to Saturdays. On Sundays, there is a boat that leaves at 11am (ask someone from surface interval resort ***case to case basis and only Surface Interval resorts guests are priority)

• If you miss the schedules of these boats or you want to leave by lunch time, advise anyone from the resort you’re staying and ask if they can arrange private boat for you which will cost you a fortune.

Travel tips and reminders:

• Bring your own food and water ( You can buy in Public market in Bagong Palengke Batangas like what we did. I spent total of 800 php for my 3 days and 2 nights stay. • Bring Power-banks as electricity is only from 6pm-10pm (Sawang dive camp has electric fan 24/7 (electricity from solar power) from 6pm-10pm lang gagana mga outlets, so eto yung best time to charge your mobile devices and gadgets • Kitchen and Grilling area are available — 200 php charge unlimited of use for your entire stay (Sawang dive camp resort) • Limit the use of plastic as much as possible • Dispose all your trash properly. • Reservation isn't necessary but an advantage during Summer season. • Most resorts are under renovation so don’t expect great amenities and local/resorts keepers are the ones who will assist you, no resort crew and staff dahil nga hindi ito puntahin at sa tingin ko in 5 years booming na to. • No restaurants in the island. Sari-sari store available nearby (canned goods, eggs and basic necessities) • Up to you if you’ll bring kids but not I personally don’t recommend.�

(Boat 150 x 2 = 300 php) Travel total amount: 768 php Accommodation: 1,000 php (Depende to sa bilang nyo. Calculated for a small cabana room na 2,000 per night max 4 adults) Food: 700 php GRAND TOTAL: 2,468 PESOS
